There have been claims that sex-for-roles exist in the Nigerian movie industry whereby some movie directors demand for sex from female actors before featuring them in movies.
Besides, many female actors (names withheld) have in the course of the year spoken out on their various encounters.
Be that as it may, Nollywood foremost actor, Kanayo O Kanayo has debunked claims that sex-for-roles exist in Nollywood.
He refuted the claim via his Instagram page on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022.
He simply wrote; “When you hear of sex-for-roles in Nollywood, please do not believe all you are told.”
“Many of the girls are not working hard to live up to the roles they are cast for. Quite a shame.”
