Nollywood actor cum politician, Desmond Elliot has been attacked by Nigerian youths following his remark at a plenary session at the Lagos State House of Assembly where he is currently a member.
The lawmaker, representing Surulere 1 has attracted the ire of youths including Nigerian celebrities over his comment.
Desmond ran into trouble when he referred to protesters as children while he was speaking on the #EndSARS protest and other matters concerning the nation at the plenary. He equally added that the social media can destroy Nigeria if not regulated.

However, reacting to his statement, the Nigerian youths amidst celebrities took to their respective social media accounts to hit out at him.
