Famous singer cum Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy and his former artiste, Tiwa Savage were recently reported to have been invited by the Department of State Services (DSS) for interrogation over social media comments against Buhari-led government.
However, the DSS has denied the report, maintaining that it did not invite any musician for questioning.
DSS spokesman, Peter Afunnaya made the denial. He said; “We didn’t invite any musician.”
Similarly, Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Bala Elkana, also denied claims that the command invited Yemi Alade and Waje.
He said; “Zubairu Muazu, who was said to have invited the singers, “ceased being CP more than 10 months ago.”
“The present CP is Hakeem Odumosu, who came in November last year. Zubairu Muazu has even retired from service; he retired as an AIG. I’m not aware of any invitation.”
